Baxley’s covers parts and labor on the work we do, for 2 years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first. It is not a number we picked because it sounded generous. It is the number we have to honor when a job comes back, which is why we would rather diagnose a car properly the first time than get it out of the bay quickly.

What “2 years or 24,000 miles” actually means
The clock starts the day we hand your car back. If the same repair fails again inside that window, on the parts we fitted or the labor we did, it is covered. The two years and the 24,000 miles run at the same time, and whichever one is reached first is the one that applies. That is what “whichever comes first” means in plain terms.
We fit both OEM and aftermarket parts. We explain the trade-off between the two on your specific repair and let you decide, and the warranty applies to whichever you choose.

The estimate comes before the work, not after
We give you a written estimate and get your approval before any repair work begins. Nothing gets taken apart on a guess, and nothing gets billed that you did not agree to first.
For most warning lights, that estimate starts with a scan we run free of charge. A loose gas cap and a failing sensor can throw the same amber light, and you should not have to pay to find out which one you have before you even get a number.

Baxley’s had fitted a condenser in Christian’s husband’s truck a couple of years earlier. When it developed a hole, the truck was dropped off one morning and picked up the next day, and the whole repair was covered under warranty. That is what the 24,000 miles is for.

What actually happens when you call about a warranty repair
A warranty visit is not a separate process from a normal one. Call the shop, tell us what the car is doing and that it’s a repeat of work we did, and we’ll get it in. Baxley’s is open Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and Friday until 5:00 PM, and we take walk-ins whenever the bay is free, so you don’t need an appointment lined up weeks out to get a warranty claim looked at.
